About Us

OUR METHOD

At Live Strong Physio, we believe strongly in putting the patient’s goals first, and as such we assess each patient and each injury individually on its merit.

Our method is built on a unique and advanced approach that blends the most up-to-date orthopaedic testing with decades of real-world clinical experience — ensuring you receive a clear diagnosis, every treatment is purposeful, and every session moves you closer to your goals.

We start by conducting detailed, research-backed assessments to pinpoint the exact cause of your pain or dysfunction. From there, your senior physiotherapist will work with you to create a tailored management plan, outlining everything from treatment frequency to home exercise recommendations, and incorporating evidence-based manual therapy options like joint mobilisations, dry needling, shockwave, and more.

What sets us apart? Our unwavering commitment to a hands-on approach delivered by only the most experienced clinicians. We take the time to listen, test thoroughly, and treat with purpose — so you get real, lasting results. Every decision we make is guided by one goal: helping you get back to the moments that matter most — whether that’s playing with your kids, returning to sport, or simply living your life free from pain.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

At Live Strong Physio, every appointment is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward — so you can get back to the moments that matter. Here’s what a typical session looks like:

1. Understanding Your Story

We start by listening. Your physiotherapist will ask detailed questions about your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals to understand what’s holding you back — and what you’re aiming to return to.

2. Orthopaedic Testing & Assessment

Using the most current evidence-based orthopaedic tests, we’ll assess how your body moves and identify the root cause of your issue. This includes strength, range of motion, joint function, and movement pattern testing — all grounded in clinical research.

3. Clear Diagnosis

Combining objective testing with years of clinical experience, your senior physiotherapist will provide a clear diagnosis and explain what’s going on in terms you can understand.

4. More investigation or support

If required, your physiotherapist can provide referrals for further investigations such as ultrasound or xray, to get a more definitive diagnosis.

5. Tailored Treatment Plan

We’ll work with you to develop a plan that suits your lifestyle and goals. This includes how often we’ll see you, what kind of exercises you’ll do at home, and the types of treatment that will be used to support your recovery.

6. Hands-On Treatment

Your session will include hands-on therapy tailored to your needs — such as joint mobilisations, manipulations, massage, dry needling, acupuncture, or shockwave therapy — all supported by the latest clinical evidence.

7. Exercise Prescription & Education

You’ll leave with a simple, personalised exercise program to reinforce what we’ve done in the clinic. We’ll also help you understand your condition and what to expect, so you feel confident and in control of your recovery.

8. Next Steps & Progress Tracking

Before you leave, we’ll book your follow-up (if needed), review your home program, and outline the next steps in your recovery journey — always with the goal of getting you back to doing what you love.
